Draft — must be reviewed before launch
This page is a working draft written to be honest about how the service operates. It is not legal advice and it has not been reviewed by a solicitor. Every amber field must be completed, and the whole page checked against the business's actual practices, before the site goes live.
1. Who we are
Registered company name , a company registered in England & Wales under number 00000000 , registered office Registered office address, POSTCODE . We trade as Register a Company in the UK at registeracompanyintheuk.com.
2. What we do and do not do
We prepare and submit filings to Companies House and HMRC on your instructions, provide addresses for use by companies and their officers, and introduce clients to business banking providers. We are not Companies House, we are not a bank, and we are not your solicitor or accountant. Nothing we provide is legal, tax or investment advice.
3. Statutory fees and processing
Companies House sets and collects its own statutory fees, and publishes its own processing times. We do not control either, and we do not promise a filing will be accepted or processed within any period.
4. Your obligations
- Information you give us must be accurate and complete, and you must tell us promptly when it changes.
- You must not use our addresses for any purpose other than the one arranged, and you must not put them on a filing before we have activated them.
- You must complete identity verification before any address is activated.
- You remain responsible for the company's own obligations, including filing deadlines, even where we assist with them.
5. Addresses
Address services run for the period arranged. When they end, you must change the address at Companies House and with anyone else who writes to it. Post arriving after the service ends may be returned to sender. We may cap the number of companies at an address, and may refuse or withdraw an address where its use puts other clients at risk.
6. Mail handling
Post is logged on arrival and held. Envelopes are opened only where you have given written authority. We do not open or scan anything marked personal or legally privileged without specific instruction.
7. Banking introductions
An introduction is a referral, not an approval. No account is guaranteed. Providers decide for themselves and may decline without giving a reason. Where a provider pays us a referral fee, we will tell you before you apply.
8. Fees and payment
Fee terms, payment timing, renewal and refund policy to be completed.
9. Anti-money-laundering
We are supervised by AML supervisory body under registration number 000000 . We must carry out client due diligence, keep records, and in defined circumstances make a report without telling you we have done so. We may decline or end a relationship where we cannot satisfy those obligations.
10. Liability
Liability, exclusions and cap to be drafted and reviewed by a solicitor. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Ending the relationship
Either of us may end the arrangement in writing. Where an address service ends, section 5 applies. We will not withhold your own records over an unpaid fee where doing so would put the company in breach of its statutory obligations.
12. Complaints
Our complaints procedure is set out here.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales .
